Our friend Vladimir Zuev has just come back from China, and he sent me an e-mail which I would like to share with you:

"Two weeks ago me and Bortnikov  returned from China. We were in Hangu, district of Tianjin. Mr. Liu Shuo Hai organized a big exlibris exhibition in his gallery. 13 artists from abroad and 18 Chinese exlibris artists. Each artist sent 30 exlibrises. Artists from abroad were invited by organizers to visit exhibition and China. Group of artists who could come is: Peter Ford, Martin Manoilin, Igor Piacka, Natalia Chernetsova, Peter Lazarov, Bortnikov and me. Reception in Hangu (wine region of Tianjin and sponsor was the wine company) was wonderful, very warm. All events (exhibition, fundamental cataloque, meetings and exursions to Great Wall, to Chinese theatre) were organized very well. So, it is possible to say that the Chinese are preparing the FISAE congress 2008 very well. This is my impression."
