	Hamburg, Germany 1966		XI. European Ex-libris Congress, Hamburg, FRG, 27-31 July, 1966 This congress, chaired by Dr. Gerhard Kreyenberg, was of great importance for all following congresses, because it was there that the statutes of FISAE were adopted and the Federation formally created. It was however, the first congress at which only one lecture was given. Two generic exhibitions were to be seen ("Bookplates after 1945" and "Early European Bookplates").
