XIV. International Ex-libris Congress, Helsingör, Denmark,
24–27 August, 1972

Klaus Rödel, Knud Fougt and Poul Andersson organised the fourteenth congress, and it was then that the name changed from European to International. 165 participants from 12 countries attended the meeting. It was strongly dominated by exchanges, although interesting exhibitions were on show. For each delegate to the FISAE societies' meeting, a substantial file had been prepared by the President, Klaus Rödel, in four languages giving a summary of points to be discussed. Mr. Rödel offered to run a secretariat and documentation centre for FISAE from Frederikshavn, but delegates were reluctant to agree to an annual contribution to its funding.
