	Linz, Austria, 1980		XVIII. International Ex-libris Congress, Linz, Austria, 21–23 August, 1980 The meeting was called "the congress of friendship" by its roughly 300 participants from 22 countries. Ottmar Premstaller was able to organise it with a small group of assistants. The engraver Mark Severin gave a talk on bookplates from all over the world, illustrated by a large number of slides.
