	Weimar, GDR, 1984		XX. International Ex-libris Congress, Weimar, GDR, 24–27 August, 1984 That it was possible for our friends in the former GDR to manage the congress is to the credit of Lothar Lang. We returned home with new knowledge of graphics in the GDR and plenty of gifts. Additionally, Hartmut Pätzke explained the vivid history of the oldest German bookplate collection, full of accidents and surprises.
