XXIV. International Ex-libris Congress, Sapporo, Japan,

The meeting was organised by Ichigoro Uchida. Lithuania was admitted to FISAE, and the list of technical symbols was amended. Although only few Europeans participated, this meeting gave a fresh impetus to bookplate-friends in the far East.
