XXVII. International Ex-libris Congress, St.Petersburg, Russia, 22nd-25th August, 1998 Veniamin Khudoley was the president of this congress and176 persons took part. There were exhibitions on the history of Russian bookplates, on the ex-libris of the Romanov dynasty, on the 'Silver Age' of Russian ex-libris, and on contemporary plates by artists from St. Petersburg.
